I’m Melody, a sommelier, wine educator and travel enthusiast.

I’ve worked in event management, wine retail, and several restaurants, including a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Amsterdam. I’m a member of Be Inclusive Hospitality UK and the Netherlands Sommeliers Guild.

I hold the WEST 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and have hosted wine events, private tastings and wine trips for the past 10 years. I’ve travelled to 45 countries and over 15 wine regions.

As a black, queer, woman I know firsthand how unwelcoming the wine and hospitality industry can be for people like me. My ambition is to make wine and wine experiences accessible for all women, especially black women, women of colour and queer women.

For years I’ve dreamed of building a community of unapologetic, fierce women who love luxury, wine, food, travel and living life to the full. Women who challenge societal norms and shatter glass ceilings.
